Ethylene vinyl acetate vinyl versatate copolymer

ELOTEX® FLOWKIT74 is a formulated defoamed copolymer based on vinyl acetate, vinyl versatate and ethylene, specially developed for self-levelling flooring compounds or screeds. It acts as a multifunctional additive designed to provide excellent flow in combination with unique stabilization properties. At the same time, ELOTEX® FLOWKIT74 offers enhanced adhesion, cohesion, flowability, and reduced water demand of corresponding building materials, such as ready-mix dry mortars. It allows formulators to easily develop products with one single additive, allowing the replacement of superplasticizers, defoamers and stabilizers, as well as the part replacement of redispersible polymer powders. Furthermore, it provides short mixing time with very fast fluidification, excellent flow without bleeding or segregation, and excellent defoaming and levelling properties. The water demand can be highly reduced, resulting in high strength development and reduced shrinkage, as well as high abrasion resistance. ELOTEX® FLOWKIT74 shows excellent compatibility with different types of cements. ELOTEX® FLOWKIT74 is formaldehyde-free with extremely low emission levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC), allowing manufacturers to formulate finished products in accordance with stringent eco-labelling requirements, such as EMICODE EC1PLUS.
