Ethylene vinyl acetate

ELOTEX® HD2000 is a hard redispersible polymer powder based on a copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene, particularly suitable for applications where hydrophobic properties are required. It acts as an organic binder to enhance the adhesion ability, cohesion, and workability of corresponding building materials, such as ready-mix dry mortars. ELOTEX® HD2000 is a hard, hydrophobic multi-purpose product with neutral rheology. Mortars modified with this product exhibit improved water resistance, adhesion, deformability, and abrasion resistance. ELOTEX® HD2000 is formaldehyde-free with extremely low emission levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC), allowing manufacturers to formulate finished products in accordance with stringent eco-labelling requirements, such as EMICODE EC1PLUS.
